Volkswagen Touareg BlueMotion

For most people, the idea of a Chelsea tractor having a green makeover may seem a bit of a waste of time, Volkswagen however has pushed ahead and added the Touareg to its BlueMotion range. With Co2 emissions trimmed back and improved fuel economy figures the Touareg is one of the first cars in its class to drop below the 225 g/km mark, which in itself is a major achievement, as previously the only large 4 x 4’s below this magic figure were Hybrids.

Tune Your Diesel Engine For Better Performance

Today’s diesel engines are far more smooth and refined than those of even a decade ago. Car manufacturers have responded to the need to create better, more economical engines as the price of fuel seems to rise inexorably. Most diesel engines use turbo technology to help achieve more power with lower emissions, and some designs even make use of two turbos to provide greater responsiveness across a wider range of revs, with the inevitable benefit in terms of performance.
